Since men aren't angels, here are some ground rules for using Gridshout:

  1. Don't Ruin it For Others.  It should go without saying, but for some reason it doesn't.  Don't be a jerk.  If you find some weakness in Gridshout, let us know (IM Schmobag Hogfather), rather than trying to prove your l33t h4x0r skills with it.
  2. No Spamming.  Don't put people in your member list who have not explicitly agreed to receive messages from you.  It's ok to add the people who joined the Subscribe-O-Matic, Hippo, or SL group that you switched from.  It's not ok to add people out of the blue.
  3. No Stealing.  If you take someone else's copyrighted content and post it without permission, we'll remove it when we find out.  If you infringe someone else's trademark in your group's name or subdomain, we'll take it down or make you change it.
That's it for now, but we reserve the right to add to these rules once hair-splitting weenies start picking at them.
